You might want to look into a JL stealth box.

Yes, one of the Crutchfield techs had me looking at them. However, way too steep for me.

You might want to look into a JL stealth box.
I was also considering this, but what is its RMS/Peak?

Yeah, but your being budget minded...there's plenty of 5ch amps out there that can power you comps and subs. It will make life easier for you (and me, if I install it LOL j/k)...less room taken up, less expensive (depending on the amp), less cost of accessories (power cable, distro blocks, etc..).

I totally agree about the dynamat...the best advice I can give anyone installing a system is to concentrate on the INSTALL!!! Look at my gallery at how I sealed the huge holes in my doors. I did that before I put my amps and comps in and was running the stock HU and speakers...made them sound 10 times better, it brought out more mid bass.

Yes, I've heard a lot of good things about Focals. I wish I had the money, but than again I really don't need a TOP of the line stereo. Im not that big of an audiophile anyways.

I have a friend who is real big into car audio and is sponsored by one of the local shops. I trust him because his Ranger is amazing and he said he'd do the install for a case of beer.

I'm not talking about my Focals...I'm talking about how the stock speakers sounded after sealing the doors up with baffles and damplifier.

No, Second Skin Damplifier. Butyl based mat, not asphalt. Dynamat Extreme is butyl based as well, but extremely expensive...hence the name.

http://secondskinaudio.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?_scb=1 If you are a member of CAF you can get 20% too (if he is still doing it) or see if he has any b stock left. It's just old stock...nothing wrong with it. I still have 35sqft left from my install...I'm trying to get motivated enough to do my overhead.
