Still the same response with no definite time, "a couple days" is what the engineer says.

There might be some, but it is part of life so i could care less and just deal with it, but at least im not an idiot and run my engine with low fuel so it fuel cuts at while at wot.

And don't think because you read the forums you know everything that goes on.

i noticed alot of you guys that are having problems have the 04 model and the guys that love it have an 05. Could there be a difference in the two?
Did you guys install it yourself or have a professional do it? Just wonder how hard it is to install.

i know that on the diesel you have to tap into the manifold or exhaust somewhere. you dont have to do any of that on our trucks?

It took me about 5 minutes to install. The hardest part was getting the side access panel off.

Nope. That is just to monitor exaust gas temps before it goes into the Turbo on the diesels

I did mine in the parking lot where I bought it.You literally open the box it came in (this took the longest), plug the cable into the Edge, turn the key to ignition and then plug the OBD cable up. Total of 45 seconds?

You don't have to use the pod if you don't want to, but heck even that only took an extra minute (literally).

This is definetly what i am going to have my gf get me for my b-day then.
Oh one other question. Does it require you to drill in your dash at all or does it just snap into place?

Perfect molded fit and can be attached by ...

3M Double stick tape

Nothing (it will move a little)

Velcro for easy removal/install when you don't want it seen (the way I did it)

Let us know if there is an update out there. I'm curious to see if this one will include the new PID's like MPG calculator and such.

Thanks.
