yeah, they are dusty out of the box, don't worry about that. Give them a day or so to break in on your truck and they should be fine....no more dust!

Those Akebono's I just installed are great, no squeaking whatsoever and absolutely no brake dust. Why couldn't this be a factory option.

Keep us posted on how those hold up. I replaced my OEMs at 900 miles with Morse ceramics for @ $50. Then at 5350 miles I could no longer stand the dust which was just as bad as the oems. I've had the Porterfields on for @ 140 miles and the dust is so far not anywhere near as bad, still a bit dusty but nowhere close to what is was with the ceramics and oems. Between the oems and ceramics there was no difference in performance or dust. So far the Porterfields grab much better, could be in my head. The bottom line will be the dust factor for me.

INSTALLED...FINALLY.

I didn't clean and re-grease the two pins on each caliper. Anyone think that will matter?
