Ipod question once again

Hey guys...im still in the process of hooking my ipod up to my head unit. I bought one of these at walmart for like $25 thinking it was exactly what i needed but now im unsure. What else exactly do i need to just play songs through my head unit?

You could get an iTrip FM modulator (if you want I have one I'm looking to get rid of) or a PIE unit to make use of your AUX button. Or you could do what I did and replace your HU with something better and hardwire your iPod and control it through the HU.

youll need to buy a Belkin TuneCast Mobile FM Transmitter or Cassette Adapter. if you have a pioneer player you can get the ipod modulator for it which lets you control your ipod through your headunit. its awesome but goes for like $200.

I completed the best mod to this truck today. I tore out the crappass stock Satellite HU, and replaced with an Alpine CDE-9852 with iPod direct link. Damn I wish I would have done that on day one, I missed my iPod.

Stock HU's suck. Period.

I got one of the monster cables for my girlfriends ipod. Costs alot more than any others but it charges the ipod as well and it has more tuning frequencies.http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1107956964452

I installed the PIE unit in mine and it sounds much better than the fm modulated one in my friends F150.

What about hard-wiring a Ipod into a Eclipse AVN5435?
