Got my '06 Crew w/ the big bed - pics in gallery.

Overall I like the new longer bed. Although it wouldn't fit in my garage I wouldn't mine the extra space for my next truck.

I could see thinking its not as practical due to its length - but it is very functional.
Besides I don't think 1' is going to make a huge difference in parking. There are bigger trucks on the road than this one.

Nice Truck! Longer is better in my opinion.
My motorcycle/tools/toys won't fit in a shorty.
I think just the opposite.
Parking in a garage and the front row at the mall is over-rated anyway.
I guess my truck would be considered a "free range" truck since it lives outside.

Beautiful truck! I like how the 6-foot bed makes the SCREW look.
I would've waited and bought one of those if it would fit in my garage. Plus I got a real good deal on my 2005! The truck cost $36,100 and I got over $8,100 in discounts before my trade and they overpaid me for that by between 3-4K. They weren't making any sales so they made me a killer deal!!! It took a while to wear them down but I got it done.

You guys think this truck is big? Have you seen the Mega Cab Ram? It's more than a foot longer than this - but with a slightly smaller bed.
Your truck is nice. If mine had the longer bed I would just get used to it. My truck is purely for pleasure but if I did work or had a bike that required a longer bed that would be nice. Good luck with it.
