Do you think the world revolves around your needs? WTF?
Congrats big time, looking super good..
The "quiet & smooth" factor seems to be the trait of the 2006 models.
My 06 is my first truck ever, and my gawd this truck is quiet and smooth.
Maybe Ford needs to come here and package this "quiet & smooth" logo..And pay you and me some big royalties!!

It is long - there's no doubt about that.
It replaced my '01 Sport Trac which while it was a really great little truck for me - left me frustrated with the smaller bed. To be honest 5.5' would do for me most of the time, but I should have no complaints with the 6.5' bed.
My garage is 21' deep so it'll fit, tight but it will fit. If it wouldn't of I probably would of gotten the shorter bed. The problem with fitting this thing in the garage isn't the lenghth its the width. Our 2-car garage has only about 1' on each side of the door so there is very little extra room. Not sure how well it'll fit in there next to my wifes Freestar.
So far parking hasn't been a problem but I have realized that our parking spots at work would need to be about 2.5' longer for me to fit completely in them. I'm sure I'll be parking further out in the lot when I run to the store.
I think they list the tow rating at 9100 lbs - It's a 4x4 with 3.73LS. It'll be a nice change - I was towing our 3500 lb (dry wt) 19' trailer with the Sport Trac. It worked but was probably pushing it. I should be able to move up to a nice size trailer later on down the road.'
As far as weight goes - the GVWR is 7200lbs, sticker on the door says my payload capacity is about 1400 lbs, so I guess that means it ways about 5800 lbs.
Besides a chorme grill I think I'd also like to find some fender flares / wheel moldings like the Lariat and paint them the Ariz. beige. Any recommendations?

Personally I really like the look
I think the 5.5ft bed looks too stubby on a SCrew. Originally I wanted to get a SCrew but the unbalanced look drove me to picking the SCab when I got my '05 (also the fact that I wanted to fit my motorcycle in the back
). Regardless, long or short, Screw or Scab it's a sweet truck.

My 05 is quiet and smooth too.

How can it be not functional with a longer bed that'll fit more stuff in it. That's like saying a F-350 with an 8 ft. box is not functional either. I think there are some folks on here turning green and trying to cover up the fact.
Awesome truck man!
