Hey 04 Red Lariat

I seen in another thread that you got a ram air hood and a brush guard for x-mas. I can't afford the hood, but I've been looking for a brush guard. Just wondering if you could post some pics. BTW which one did you get.

Thanks

Pics will be coming. My freakin truck is still at the dealer after 2 weeks with a list of problems being fixed.

I got the manik brush guard in black and it was then painted red to match.

04 red, you need to make those weenies at Prestige wash your truck!! lol.

I was out there for an oil change the other day. I knew your truck had to have been there for a while since it was so dirty! I should have took a pic and blackmailed you with a dirty truck pic! :-)

Hope you get it back soon. Bet that hood is going to look great! What's going on with the truck if you don't mind me asking?

Nooooooooo don't tell them to wash it, they will bust out the big scary brush.

God did you see the tiny stock wheels too :o It mostly went in for minor noises. But they put a rearend in, valve body in the transmission, something in the front end, fixed a leak that was keeping the carpet wet in the front passenger side, back window rattle, door rattle, & speaker blown. They did call today and say its now finished after 3 weeks with them.

Yeah! I saw it Friday and was wandering what was the deal with the stock wheels. I wasn't for sure it was yours for a second. Beware the big scary brush! Rear end huh? That's scary! Hope they got ya all fixed up. Clean that thing when you get it home! Looking at your LT handles, I can't wait to get mine. Great looking truck you got there. Dad was admiring your grill, little did he know I got him one for Christmas. Put that in for him over the weekend.

Sharp looking Harley they have in the showroom there.

We gotta get together sometime when I'm back home so I can get some use out of my 4-wheeler.

P.S. I need to start driving back home for oil changes. Cute girl at the service desk!

Yep, I can not even think of her name. I usually deal with Jason in service. I will be over there tomorrow picking it up.

Put the stock wheels back on so they could address the rearend vibe problem accordingly. I did not wash it before I took it over so I know it has to be dirty. Oh well it will be clean tomorrow eve, and sporting a some new pieces.

Did you notice how the grill inner layers paint had chipped out. I need to have that repainted too.

Let me know when you head back this way again.

Were you experiencing a delay when shifting to reverse? If so, let me know how it is with that new valve body.

Thumper....I never even noticed anything with the tranny other than a thud with the o/d off and light acceleration it would make a thud like the driveline had slack.

That is how I described the problem to them and the valve body was the solution. The service tech said he did not see how I could even stand to drive the truck the way it was.

No problems with delay in shifting to reverse.
