I got a Sneak Peak at one of My Christmas Presents - "Titanium" Interior Trim
One of my Christmas presents arrived UPS overnight today and I convinced my wife to let me "inspect" them for damage etc before she wrapped them up.
My FTX came with a special steering wheel, they call it "Titanium and Leather" and I have been looking for some matching trim for it. After searching and searching I found out Woodview made some interior trim parts in the exact finish. One quick call to a sales rep and he set my company up with a wholesale account and then overnighted the parts I wanted for my FTX.
I didn't want to go "all out" with different trim as I think the stock F-150 interior is pretty cool as it is. One of the things that bothered me the most was how the plastic felt around the window switches etc so I wanted to start there. The 5-peice Kit I got came with the 4 molded door "switch panel" covers and the molded part for around the shifter (not sure if I am going to use it, but it fits perfectly).
Anyway, here is a photo showing the FTX steering wheel and below you can see the matching molded trim installed for the drivers door switches along with a schematic of the molded parts I got. It sure feels better already... too bad I had to box it back up till Christmas :-(

Would you say that it matches the silver around the speedo rings? Could you get a upclose pic of the light switch panel? What would the L&R light switch panels run?
Great mod , get some pics up after christmas asap!

I checked www.woodcorp.com and see stainless billet and satin silver. What color is your kit 928gt? Looks

It ties in exactly with the Speedo/Tach rings and is the same color as the silver metallic vents, but it is a very slick smooth surface.

The Kit I got was the smallest amount of trim parts (5) they sell. It retails for around $310, but the street price seems to be around $175.
They also have a Molded 8 piece Kit that covers all of the FX4 simulated CF trim on dash and doors, the retail for is is $400ish, but I think the street price it is around $231. Here is the schematic for it, and if I like the first one this will be the next step...

For me having a nice warm feeling steering wheel is much more desirable than having different door handles that I only touch once every entry/exit and things like that. I promise you once you drive with a steering wheel that feels this good and you don't have one in your truck. you will probably start saving for the approx. $250 exchange price and put some other mods on the back burner. Of course this is just my opinion, for what that is worth.

No problem, in reality I will probably end up using it, just not 100% sure. I will say that part is very impressive, it is literally like a second skin over the faactory part and covers it perfectly and 100% just like the door switch panels. It is such a close fit you have to remove the rubber cup holders before install, and then the rubber cup holders go right back in like factory.. I checked this during my "inspection" and was amazed!

No problem, in reality I will probably end up using it, just not 100% sure.
