firewall
On the passenger side behind the glovebox there is a huge grommet with eletrical coming through. You can get at least another wire or two through it. Drop the glove box and reach deep. I found it was easier to pop it out, feed my wire then put it back in. It's a lot of work, but it's the right way to do it.

There is also a grommet on the drivers side above the steering column which is accessible from both sides. Can't miss it, there are a couple wires through there already. This is the hole I fished the cable for my cell phone booster antenna through, quite easily I might add.

Sorry, I had the same thought when I saw the post. .
I prefer to use the one below the Master C. it is big, easy to reach and if you pass the wire through it (make a hole with an icepick) it protects the wire well.

I have cacti monitoring my laptops port on our cisco 6509 switch. The traffic coming from my pc sometimes amazes even me.
