How is the light output of the projector using the H3 bulb when projector is used as low beam. Is it comparable to low beam on factory H13?

The pattern is more cut off and the lights are noticeably whiter, it uses H1 but i'm not sure about the brightness i.e. 4000K,4500K, ect...i'm lookin around for some brighter light maybe blue or hyper white bulbs on ebay. Heck at Manopoly Mart (WALMART) they have sylvanias thinkin about pickin some of those up for the hell of it. I'll try to put some pics up of them oh and shes a little damaged poor girl, i was goin up grade to an 06 front but now looks like might be the best time i have to do it anyway

This setup is better than stock. you are losing some of the brightness and range from the HIDS by using the Halogen projectors because the Halogen projectors focuses the light more directly in front of the truck where HID projectors focuses the light farther out in front. But they still look good and work good. Installation for the projectors was simple.. I just swapped the wiring so that I could use the projectors with my low beam, and the LED's and Halo you just splice the wires into your parking light wires. and these buckets are direct replacement for factory buckets, No modification required to make them fit. As for the HIDS, it got a little tricky at one point because at the time I couldnt buy the male part of the factory harness for the headlight to hook the ballast/ignitor into. So what I ended up doing was taking an H13/9008 bulb and using a Dremel to separate the bulb portion with the black bottom portion and then I used that to plug into the factory harness. Once I did that it was simple to plus in all of the wires into the Ballast/Ignitor and to the HID bulb. Then you just have to find a spot under the hood to mount the Ballast/Ignitor and you are all set.

Do you have a picture of the headlights installed on your truck..

yankeesfan81..
Where did you install the ballast? I am looking at doing the same setup and wanted to know where you were able to mount the ballast and do you have any pictures of the location?

The cut offs dont look that bad since they are halogen projectors.

Is there adjusters on the back of the projector to adjust up,down side to side, or did you have to adjust the whole headlight assembly

Well in the front of the truck there is the black cowel that sits above the fans. I took that piece off and installed the ballaststo the metal underneath the blakc piece. That way the ballasts are hidden underneath the black cowel piece.

Titans. On my projector setup I dont think there is any adjusters for the projectors or the headlight assembly itself..

Were yours pre adjusted basically just plug and play? mine were not straight as in one beam was higher than the other so i had to adjust the whole bracket that the headlight attches to. Yankee do you have a pic of what the light pattern looks like from the cab?
