Tool Box Question

Hey guys I am looking for a tool box for my truck.

I would like to get a chest style so it would not been seen from outside and I can install a cover on the bed over it.

I have only found one from Kolalt that is chrome diomand plate. I rather have a black one so it blends in much better with my black truck.

Anyone have a rolling type of cover with a chest style box? Any pictures?

Looks good
What kind it is?
How is it mounted?
Did you have to drill holes through the bed?

Any of these boxes have mounting systems that do not required to drill holes through the bed?

It's a UWS toolbox and it's mounted with 3 screws to the back side of the bed, against the cab.

Well, for a chest style box, they have to mount one way or another. And since they don't touch the rails, they have to mount to the floor or back wall of your truck. They're small holes ... get over it. I have not seen anyone with a toolbox AND a cover yet, but that doesn't mean they're not around here somewhere.

UWS is a very good brand, but they're on the expensive side. I wanted the cheapest I could get. It's not holding expensive tools, etc. ... just some 'stuff.' Mine is a Dee Zee from Tractor Supply Company. Read my other post here for more info, etc.

I sat my tool chest up on some of those rubber feet like you have on your shop tools(table saw or whatever). The kind with screws on them so you can set the height up or down. I positioned them so they would wedge against the ridges on the bed. With the LineX and the weight from tools in mine it hasn't moved yet. I got mine from Tractor Supply but I don't remember if they had it in black.
