I am an F-150 ethuiest tried and true. I know not everything but a lot about f-150. I know all the hosepower and torque rating on every F-150 engine year by year. I know axel ratios options an for what models, I know fuel tank sizes for each model configuration, anyways. I am not bragging, just want to state that I am somewhat knowledgable about F-150's. I have some questions about F-150's that I will be surpirsed if I get the answer too, cause I can't seem to be able too, and no one else I talk to that claims to know everything about F-150's can't either.

What are the specs on the Audiophine Stereo?
Did you know that the Supercab Audiophile system has 8 speakers while the SuperCrew has 10.

What are the hosepower impovements from adding a K&N cold air intake?

What is the biggest fault with this truck?

If you can answer them for me. I would have to say you are a true F-150 Ethuiest.

Nope...didnt know that...probably because its not true. Both have 7...two in each front door...one in each rear and a sub. Of course I could be wrong about this one but I know its an odd number of speakers...not an even.

You can be all the enthusiast or ethueist you want...when you put up with 'em 10 hours a day, five or six days a week, the enthusiasm fades quickly.

No, an Ethuiest is similar to an Athiest...but more on a 'higher truck power' level of belief.

15 H/p with a KNN filter cold air intake? If true, why is Ford leaving you to do the work they took your money for?
Lockable tail gates is a Ford only perk I like, othier than that, my years of Ford ownership have me questioning why Ford still can't be the best at the game they claim to own.

Answer to K&N Air Intake 2004 F150 Horsepower Increase Question

After doing a little web research I found the following:

Listed below is what I found on the website PerformanceLifts.com.

This is K&N part number 57-2556. This K&N FIPK kit will provide a noticeable performance increase of the 5.4L V8 that powers the 2004+ F150 trucks. How much of an increase you ask? When K&N dyno tested this FIPK system on a 2004 F150 they were able to gain 15.47 HP at 3829 RPM! K&N intake systems replace your vehicles restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicles engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engines RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available.
