Flow Thru Dash/Console/Shifter Swap is Complete. Pics

Well, it's been a semi long road, but the project is complete. Everything works, shifts, and drives like it just came off the lot. I am very pleased and pretty proud off myself for having the ***** to rip my 5000 mile truck interior out, but I'm glad I did. My gallery has been updated with more pics, so have a look!

Did you add the vents that run under the driver/pass seats?

Thanks guys, man I DO love this truck. Out of all the cars I've had, and theres has been plenty (If you want a list, I'll post it) This is one of my top 3 favorite rides I've had. Mods aren't done though! I have the 2006 front bumper coming next week!

Very nice job FX, it came out terrific! I commend you for doing something I would never attempt...I would have just traded the truck for one with the console!

No I haven't, I'm gonna live with the current setup I have now, as I ran out of budget money to buy the correct piece. I will probably fix this up in the spring time.

Thanks Bro!! I would have traded if my truck hadn't depreciated 10 grand in 5 months! I'm stuck with this one, but you know, it's way more fun modifying what I had as opposed to just buying the setup complete. I learned alot about this truck in the process.

FX4&EXCURSION, you are the man! I don’t think anyone else will have the nads to attempt this conversion. But lets see, I’ve already got the console and shifter, maybe the dash is not that far off…no I don’t think so. Great job, it’s been great following the progress. Now go have a beer.

Now you just have to do something about that ugly hole where the column shifter used to be. Isn't there a plastic cover or something to go over that spot or are all the trucks with the center console like that?
Looks great otherwise!

Yep, that's next on the list, have to buy the non column shift steering wheel covers. Thanks to all, especially FX4&HARLEY's help!!

KenFX4, I got the grill from fordparts.com for 138 shipped. Love it

Come on FX4&HARLEY, getcha that dash, I know if you saw one for 150 bucks, you'd be all over it I can do these dash swaps in my sleep now, easier than changing brakes and I probably could pull the dash faster!

Thanks again everyone, I'm gonna drink that beer now
