Back to stock...official results!!

Okay, I am about to install a supercharger.

Well, I went out and did some final runs tonight on my G-tech SS after returning to stock and removing my bolt ons.

Before I get crap, let me say that I DO NOT lie about times nor have I in the past. I have no problem admitting a loss or a bad time. I only state that because I hear loads of BS about the G-tech's inaccuracy. NOT TRUE. The new ones have great accuracy. I recently took it to the track and the times were dead on every time. However, the traps were a bit off (+2mph each time).

Okay, my truck currently has e-fans and exhaust as the only mods. Thats it.
Stock intake is back on, as well as stock pullies, stock tune, no Ignition Booster, 87 octane gas and tailgate is on and up.

I had my wife in the passenger seat, plus me and gas and tailgate was on and up. 5259lbs race weight. Launched from idle and I spun pretty good too. Times were:

0-60mph-6.81 seconds
0-60ft-2.321
1/8ET-9.87@72.93mph
1/4ET-15.19@92.1mph

Not bad for only an exhaust and electric fans. I for sure will see mid 13's with just the supercharger install. With a custom tune AND long tubes I forsee some low 13's. After I upgrade to the 9lb pulley I will see high 12's.

Hope so anyway.

Also, these tuners do work. I lost over a second off of my 1/4 mile times when returning to stock. Most of that was the tuner.

Right now I got:

AirRaid
UD pullies
4.10 Gears
Exhaust
SuperChips 1714(Replaced with Xcal saturday)

Hopefully I can get some efans right after christmas.
After that... I dont know What I'll do.

Ignition Booster, Headers (long tubes), roll pan (weight loss) and some DR's. Also, drop a stall converter in there and you will dump some mid 13's bro. No doubt.

I never even made it to full NA status. Full NA is FULL bolt on. These trucks WILL run mid 13's with full bolt ons and finely tuned. Trust me.

If you got the cash, I can tell you what my exact set-up "would" have been had I finished it.

I am headed to Japan and I would have spent atleast that amount in more bolt ons as I would have for the Powerdyne unit. So, I am pressed for time and I went with BOOST.

Wow that's nuts! Awesome times for an almost* stock onefiddy!

EDIT: how cold was it out there when you did the runs? It had to be pretty chilly to get those nice times!

Oh, it was alot cooler. About 40 degrees at the time and low humidity. But, I did have some extra weight with a passenger.

But, no excuses. Time are what they are. 15.19 with spin isnt bad at all on nearly stock. Those mods I do have on now arent real neck breakers anyway...LOL!!

I ran a crappy 15.42 today on the street by myself and spun quite a bit. I know the spinning is killing me, cause my traps are pretty high. Around 92mph in the 1/4 and 72-73mph in the 1/8th. I guess I am trying for some 14.9's NA and as is. Dont think it's going to happen though.

Oh well. I'll post new times once she is back up and running with the boost.

My best G-tech to date is 15.26 @ 96.7mph. Overall weight is 5800lbs that’s with a full tank of gas, toolbox, etc and me in it. I got a 3:55 gear

Well, I have 3.73 POSI gears PLUS I have a lower diameter tire which puts me at an actual final ratio of 3.92. That is part of the reason. Other part is beyond me. My truck was very strong from the factory. I was running high 9's in the 1/8th with NO MODS AT ALL and no weight reduction.

jpdadeo,
What mods do you have? That is one strong engine for pulling off a 15.26 in stock trim w/ 3.55's and 5800lbs.

Nevermind, I just saw your mods list. Thats about right, X-cal 2, Magnaflow exhaust, AF1 intake. Very nice.

I was running a 14.7 with exhaust, intake and 1714 tuner. With the X-cal 1 it was running a 14.5.

Good times man...you should drop some cash on gears and headers and watch those high 14's roll in very easily.

Mike says he’ll be able to tweak my tunes enough to get me in the high 14’s no problem. Gears would make a big difference though, but for now I’m hanging
