Bringing the Triton to life....

What are some ways to open the 5.4 up and get some hidden ponies out of her? This is the first V8 I've owned, but I feel like this motor can be more punchy and responsive than it is. I realize this is a truck and not a muscle car but was wondering if you guys had some suggestions.

What year is your truck?
I think 04, (maybe 05) have had a PCM reflash. They say its a totally different monster after that!

How much does it cost to get a PCM reflash and I am assuming you do this at the dealer?

you can get it covered under warranty if you talk about the right tsb in relation to a symptom- off topic, and not to hijack, can you send me an email about your 951's how you're liking them, problems, care, etc?

I have an 04 FX4 w/19k miles. How can I convince the dealer to reflash?
