Cool How high is too high

With my usual knack at stirring things up. Here's my question.

How much lift is too much lift.

Such as a 3" vs. a 6".
drive train problems
tire size abilities
drivability on road
does 6" and such cause a tendance for tipping.
etc...

I don't know about practical differences, but some states have laws on how high your bumper can be in relation to the ground.

Look into fiberglass fenders or Bush Whacker cut outs to allow for increased tire sizes without a huge lift.

in my 03 f-150 with 11" of lift i get about 35 degrees of tip before the tires start to come off the ground(tiping) this is pretty good in my jeep xj 95 with 6" lift i would only get about 30 degrees before i started to tip
