Anyone know where to fine the vaccum line to tap into on our trucks?? The L section has a lot of instructions and it seems really easy, but i dont know if its the same as on our trucks...thanks!

You need a supercharger to have boost. Boost gauge is useless on a NA motor.

You need to turn in your keys of you are honestly asking this on a N/A motor.

I assume that you are using it as a vacuum gauge. There is a large vacuum port on the passenger side of the throttle body. You use a T-line to tap it.

it's real close to the intake manifold bearing... you can't miss it

Actually.... I have read before on alot of different sites that if you drive with your engine at high vacuum, you actually get better gas mileage... or somthing al0ong those lines....

QUOTE:
A Gadget That Does Work
One gas-saving gadget that does work is a simple vacuum gauge. The gauge displays intake vacuum and shows how much load is on the engine. The lower the vacuum reading, the higher the load on the engine and the more fuel it burns. The higher the vacuum reading, the lower the load and the less fuel the engine burns. It's as simple as that. The vacuum gauge saves gas by showing the driver the effect his right foot has on fuel consumption.

It's full manifold vacuum, so why not? You can hook any vacuum gauge, instrument etc. there. Of course any SC kit will be very specific as to where the maker wants it installed.
Sounds like fun.

On using a Vacuum gauge to monitor mileage, sure does work. The Scangauge is better, if not better looking, so I took my nice new Autometer Vac gauge from my dash to make room for the ugly Scangauge. The Vac gauge did help with the mileage, but then, I have been using them since they came stock in cars in the low 60's.
