Flow-Thru Dash Installation Update-Pics

The flow-thru dash is in. A little time consuming but a very simple swap overall. No squeaks, rattles, and everything works. Still need a few parts obviously, i.e. shifter, trim plates, shifter cable, etc. So far so good! Enjoy the pics.

Thanks everyone. What's good is that the connectors can only go into what they came out of, meaning they are proprietary, so you can't plug a connector into the wrong device. It's really not hard even though the dash removed looks like an explosion. I took some pictures and made mental notes of what was unplugged and that's about it. Ford designed this very well as it's very obvious what goes where. Completely straightforward. The only help I needed was removing and placing the dashboards in and out of the cab. Gotta go find the rest of those parts!!

Admit it...you just wanted to see the Quiet Steel! I'm just glad that mine came with that dash...I would NEVER have done that job myself.

Very simple. All you need is the console shift cable. The wiring harness is already present. Another member here has already done this. My cost so far is 245 bucks. I hope to recoup some of this by selling my old dash.

Looks good, and if you continue to keep your costs, down, it'll cost you less than if you ordered it from the factory.

You are a brave man. I dont think I could ever do that. I saw this shifter on ebay the other day. Dont know if you need one or already have one. Keep up the good work.

What does your wife say when she see's you removing the interior of your truck? Does she look like this ?

Thanks! Actually I'm bidding on that now. My wife? She's oblivious to it all. She's been seeing me do this kind of stuff for years

That's the idea Actually, I'll have to see what it does cost from the factory since I have no idea.
