Hello IzInBloOm

Can you help me out with a VIN check on my f250?
1FTSW21P56E880702

I want to know how long it has been sitting at the dealer.
No one phoned me when it came in, so I just happened to call to see WTF. The salesmam is on holidays, and this guy is sick....and this guy is not in....and blah, blah, blah. They won't deliver it to me today (Sat) because no one feels like it.
So I have to wait until next weekend because I have to work all week to pay for the friggin' thing.
I guess they will have to bribe me for a good survey report... .

Now I lost $$ off because I haven't taken delivery by Oct 31.
I want to know if it came in before the 31st, and I don't think they would tell me the truth if it did.

Thanks.

- The VIN must be exactly 17 characters in length.
- The CARFAX database contains information for cars manufactured from 1981 through the present.
Bring me back the real VIN# and I'll help you again. I have unlimited Vin# lookups.

Well that's interesting.

This is the number the salesman wrote down.

Doing a little referencing from some other F250 VIN's I have, it seems the number after the "E" (E8) should be a letter..... "A" (EA)
This would be the code for the plant it was built in ...no?

I think this should be the VIN then

1FTSW2IP56EA880702

Thanks for the help Josiah and ii

"1FTSW2IP56EA880702" is too an incorrect VIN#. Let me know if you come up with any other conclusions.

Duh!!!...
I put in an "I" for a "1", and I left in the 8 that should be an "A"

Try this
1FTSW21P56EA80702

That is the wrong VIN too..

After disecting 5 F250 VIN's I think I have come up with the proper combination.
Look's like someone was trying to through me off track with some wrong numbers!!!!

This is it (I'm pretty sure)

1FTSW21P96EA80702

Thanks for your time...

these don't appear to be valid VIN numbers.

That is a proper VIN for a 2006 F-250 4x4 Supercab. Is that what you ordered? According to OASIS, it was built 8/5/2005, and has not been sold yet. There is no sold date or sold mileage. Thats all the information I have available to me.

Thanks 02SuperCrew4X....it's a Lariat CrewCab $x$ (I like to use the shift button for typing 4x4...$x$)
And factory ordered on 09/28/05 with a priority 1.

I can't believe something so simple turned out like this....
I pick up the beast tomorrow. I can't wait to see the PROPER VIN!

Here is my sig for the last time as a true F150 owner
