Not toooo hard. Just need to take your time. The emblems are adhered with double sided tape in addition to the emblem having alignment posts that go into the fender. I would take some fishing line or something comparable and place the line behind the emblem and start working the line back and forth while slightly tugging back. Eventually it will unstick itself. If the emblem is on pretty good you can take a hair dryer and blow hot air behind the emblem edges to heat up the sticky tape then start tugging back again with the fishing line. Be careful around your paint. Don't want to see you scratch it. Good luck and take some pics when your done. Like to see it.

On the subject, harley emblems are roughly $30/ea list and if you dealer likes you you can get them for about $15/ea

I would recommend that you tape off the old emblem prior to removing it so you have a guide to insure the new one is level somehow.

I took dental floss and doubled it up and then used it in a "sawing" action from the top corner. Once I was about 1/4 of the way through, I was able to pull it off carefully the rest of the way. Take some adhesive remover and clean the rest of the glue off and the rest is history.

Good luck.

OK I got them off.....It was pretty easy...What can I use to get the sticky residue off of the paint. I know alcohol does the trick on glas, but is it safe for paint?

Goo gone is good stuff to you use. Shouldn't matter as far as a guide, the new emblem alignment posts should line the new emblem right up.
