I received this intake today and installed it under 25 min. I tell you, its damn awesome. I love the sound at WOT (deep sound, makes the engine seem more powerful)and then its quiet when its idling.

I opted for the Air Force One first BUT when the Air Force One company kept giving me a load of chit on why I haven't gotten it yet (took 3 months and different stories every time) I said screw it and went with the K&N. I'm not bashing any of F150online.com vendors at all, just the company Air Force One themselves. And I'm not bashing those who already own the Air Force One intake. I'm glad those owners received theirs rather than wait like I did.

Over all I recommend this product for the 04 and up with the 5.4 3V.

 

How difficult is the install? I've defiinitely got my eyes on K&N's PAIK - I'm a big fan of them. Are they roughly $280 or so?

 

It wasnt that hard at all. really easy. Nothing on the kit was hard to do at all. Took me 25 min to instal every thing. If you're a fan of K&N then you will like this product. It cost me $291

 

Ordered mine (FIPK) for my 05 about a week ago for $276. Backordered for 3 weeks. Can't wait to get it though.
