Exclamation 1/4 mile times please!

What are your alls times stock and modded? Just wondering how a new f-150 would do against a super duty with the edge on it!

Good question, I hope people respond. I know TX with a new Roush Supercharger runs 15.1 quarter miles. I think he has an aftermarket intake and exhaust. I am interested in what a stock 6.0 runs in the 1/4 and what they run when chipped as well.

There are several guys in the mid to low 14's. A few knockin on the door of 13's, and couple that are solid in the 13's. All N/A.

These trucks can be quick, IF you know how to make them quick.

I had a superduty with edge, there is almost not a chance for the F150 unless you spend big money, don't get me wrong, love my F150, but my superduty ran 13.9 with just edge box, thats going to be hard to do with these trucks.

***DISCLAIMER**** These trucks CAN be 'quick' if you blow a grand or two and you have a reg cab and not a heavy **** scab or screw. If you have the ladder, suck it up since you'll blow 6 grand to match a reg cab with a grand in bolt-ons.

What year is your superduty, I am assuming it has the 6.0. What is the edgebox as well.

And FatherFord, I doubt any 04-06's are running in the 13's N/A'd. Are you speaking of pre-04 models?

An N/A 04-05 scab or screw in the 13s??? That must be a rich mf'er.

Is it possible to get into the N/A 15s without voiding the warranty(ie tune)?

Thanks

Tunes don't void warranties unless your dealer is a pr!ck. However, any bolt-on and engine trouble can = no warranty if your dealer is a pr!ck.

I need to get my butt to the track.

Regular Cab, 5.4, AirRaid intake, 1714, custom exhaust, 4.10 gears.

I'd like to go before and after I get the XCAL2. Im getting one tuned on the dyno in November.
If I had to guess, I'd say Im running about 14.5 seconds in the 1/4 mi.

I'd be interested in seeing what you run. I ran a 15.3 Friday night. I have basically the same truck but w/ 3.73's instead. Had Xcal, magnaflow w/ turndown and Volant when I ran. I know they say going from a 3.73 to a 4.10 won't help much but I noticed that I'm really not reaching that powerband at the end of the qtr.

Best to worse using a Gtech

15.49 @ 95.9 mph
15.65 @ 93.7 mph
15.91 @ 92.8 mph

Either next week or the week after I’m going to Orlando Speed World Dragway to get some real ¼ mile times

Ive talked to several dealers and they all agreed that if I have an engine issue with a performance tune, they will void my warranty. They said that the computer directly affects how the engine runs(ie lean, rich, too much timing, etc). So they could link the computer to the engine issue such as say a piston/cylinder issue. Now as far as exhaust/intake, they couldnt link an engine failure to the muffler/tailpipes. Its all about whether or not they could link the damage to the aftermarket part. For example, if you install an audio amplifier providing more power to the speakers, and then blow the factory speakers, they would not be covered under warranty. The problem is, you could in this case remove the amplifier and they would never know. However, with the computer, they can bring up the log and tell if you have had a tune installed. This is coming from the horse's mouth, and my Tech is a pretty cool guy.
