Question Badge Problems?

Anyone had any problems with their little chrome 'F-150' badges? The black paint in the center of my lettering is coming off of all of them. Just wondering if anyone else was having this problem, and if the dealerships were doing anything to fix it. Quite honestly it looks better without the paint anyway and i will probably just remove what paint hasn't already come off.

Well I don't know how I managed to miss both of those in my search for similar threads, but I guess I'm the idiot of the day on the forums. Thanks wakebordlf!

Most of the problems with the badges are with the 05s arn't they?

My badges on my 04 are holding up great and I've hit them with high pressure before on many occassions.

I don't think its an issue with plastic. I think they just made them cheaply for the new model. How many 97s do you see that still have no issues with their badges?

SAJEFFC I don't think that no one had thought of it. I just think no one wanted to endure the humiliation that will undoubtedly result from having said it. LOL

I'm at about 2 months right now. It seems that it started right after I got it. I'm **** about my truck too and almost never wash it anywhere except in the driveway by hand. I'm gonna get the dealership to replace them either way. See if I can't persuade them to give me the old ones too, get all the black off of those for the clean look.

I took my badges off and the truck magically actually gained 50HP(so it Actually has 300 now), vibrations stopped, leaking fluids stopped, and things stopped breaking!! I wonder why???
