I started to get those, the Morse, but had never heard of that brand, went with the Wagners instead. Hope they work out for me.

I got the klean wheels dust covers they work perfect. they have vents cut into them for ventalation and the manufacturer claims no reduction in brake cooling. but at 13000 miles I had warped rotors and the dealer did replace them but said if they warp again ford might not cover them because of the dust covers. I haven't taken them off yet but debateing if I want to or not. I dont think those covers are the cause for the warping as I have heard of alot of these new f150s are haveing brake rotor warp issues. oh and I asked the dealer if I put after market break pads on and the rotors warped again if it would void the warranty on the rotors. he said yes so you should consider this before putting on those after market pads.

Just keep the stock pads and if the rorors warp through back on the stock pads.

Mslc1 Can you tell me what the part # is for the pads from Napa is? I have an 04 fx4 and can't find the right pad. I need the pad with the 2 small holes in them for the retaining clip and none of the pads that I have seen have them.

Friction Master Ceramic Pads

Ford replaced my rotors yesterday, so I put these on today. Stopping power seems the same or better. I can't make these things sqeek and I am looking forward to less brake dust.

Paid $45 for fronts and $40 for rear at Advance Auto. If you have an 04, make sure they give you the pads for the new bodystyle.

The pads I got didn't have the 2 small holes for the retaining spring ( or whatever it is). Don't need them anyhow. Works fine without!

Ceramic Brakes Pads.

I got a 2006 F150XLT the brake dust problem is crazy. I wash my truck every weekend the worst part is the brake dust that build up in less than a week on the rims. I got a pair of ProStop Ceramic's I'm picking up tomorrow and installing. I have notice the brake fading in high tempitures with the OEM factory pads as well. I provide my take on the Ceramics in a week and let you guys know what I think.

So wait a year and it should be ok...just make sure you haven't cleaned them during that year, because they're just hoping you won't notice the brake dust is still the same because your wheels are jet black.

Just thought I'd share....
No way...I've got 24K on mine and have BAD brake dust on my wheels after just 2 days.

Where the rotors under warranty or you paid to have them do it.

the rotors are covored under warranty. but if you put ceramic pads on that will void that warranty. at least that is what ford told me after they replaced my rotors.

YES!!!! Steer clear of the Wagner Thermo Quiets. The shop I had do the EBCs got the wrong pads for the front, and put Thermo Quiets on while they ordered the right EBCs. Those things lost braking power when they got hot... STEER CLEAR OF THOSE!

The EBCs work fantastic even though they aren't a ceramic. VERY low dust, and fierce gripping power...
