Also keep in mind 4x2 rotors cost about 100-200 more than 4x4 rotors

So if the price looks fishy and its for a 4x2 just think how much the 4x4 ones are worth.

The rotors themselves are Brembos...its just that they were plain Brembos that somebody had drilled and slotted.

digging up an old thread.

Screw2004,

How are your rotors and pads holding up? How is the life of the pad and rotor going? Did you notice an increase in stopping power?

Sorry to hear. Hope you feel better soon. I'm a hop-skip-and-jump away from AE 026 22s and am thinking about having a shop install some cross drilled/slotted rotors from ebay shop R1 Concepts ($250 for all four rotors zinc plated for rust too), then a set of potorfield ceramic pads to reduce brake dust. Then while they're doing that, take a wire brush with brake clear to the calipers and paint those red with engine block spray paint.

I'd do the install myself, but have never done brakes before and would be worried about how tight to tighten them. I don't have a way of measuring the lbs. of force to tighten everything with.

Thanks Duke..You can get a torque wrench pretty cheap. and install is easy and you will get that instant gratification of doing it your self
