Pulled up to a stop light and a guy in a silver lexus is300 pulled up next to me and he asked me plain out if i wanted to race, there was no-one around so i said why not. We both floored it and i went ahead by 1 car length as we were continuing to race he caught up a little but i remained at least 1 car length ahead, he was shell shocked when he pulled up to me at the next stop light and he could't believe i killed his lexus ! these f150's rule !!!!!!

The only way i won however is that i have the superchip, underdrive pulleys, straight pipes, tbs, airraid intake and new spark plug wires. These mods are costy but they def are worth it also i have 33 inch tires with 3.55 gears ! so i am alot slower than i should be [will be getting 4.56 in next few weeks] but i am really impressed with these trucks, if u feel ur truck is slugish don't b*tch about it just buy a chip and the usual stuff and ur good 2 go.

You know I gave him the benifit of the doubt about the stereo but now you just full of it that truck will not beat a IS300 if you drove it off a cliff. You cant be serious, it must have been a pinto with a IS300 sticker.

Enough is Enough. If your gonna fabrciate(sp)a story atleat try to make it a little more beleavable(sp).

 

Lexus has never been set up for straight line speed, and with all his mods, it's plausible. Usually a race on the street is about who has bigger cajones, rather than who has the faster car. Some folks will just back off before hitting 90 in a 25 mph school zone...

Jdoggfx4 i just read ur mods and it did't say u had much performance mods just a exhaust so how would u know if my truck could beat a lexus ! u don't know the true potential of the triton. Also the guy went flat out floored it all the way up to 90 we were all alone on a deserted road, guys i killed a lexus so can u !

 

1.My list of mods don't have anything todo with you racing a IS300. I know a enough about cars/trucks to know that you need more then that little list of mods to beat an IS300 if he was racing. I have driven many IS300 and I know what they can do I'll give you off the line for the first 20 feet or so but to 90 your full of it.

2. I dont know waht kinda of PLUG WIRES you put on. But I have a 2004 5.4 F150 AND IT HAS NO PLUG WIRES!!!!!!!

 

Well other than the plug wires it's very possible. My massive lariat screw with my fat **** in it can run a quarter in 16½ with just the 1714 tuner & magnaflow cat-back with a K&N filter, not CAI. He's got the pulleys good for a few extra ponies plus has a lighter truck. An older IS300 (I'm assuming that's what it was) can run a quarter in just barely under 16 seconds...

I think given the time & space the Lexus may have caught him or kept it real close... well actually his limitor would have kicked in while the Lexus wisked away to it's top-end of 144mph.

I also beat a Dodge Viper the other day. Granted it was being towed behind a RV, I still beat him!

my g/f has 2003 is300 and i raced it when i first got my truck and beat her until about 70-75 or so then it was over for me. but that was stock and shes not really the best racer. but i drove her car against a friend driving her drunk and same results so with enough mods i'd say its possible to beat one in 1/4 but its top end speed will kill the f150 in thelong run

 

Yeah, these trucks are FAST!

 

I think that anyone that really thinks these trucks are fast has never actually owned anything FAST. A 16.5 sec quarter mile is NOT FAST. It may not be as slow as something else but its still far from FAST.

 

Its fast for a 5500 lbs truck !
