[QUOTE=dzervit]He's got a scab... that's closer to his stated 5500lbs. The only trucks over the 3-ton mark are screws with a full tank of gas & someone driving them. [QUOTE=dzervit]
I have a super cab and my GVWR is 7200. So I guess the trucks in NC are heavier then they are in FL or where ever he is.

Do you REALLY think your scab weights 7,200lbs?!!!

My bad A$$ Hat I wrote the wrong thing done. Sorry I'm not always right like you. But that truck still did not beat IS300 from 0 to 90.
FAST is a very relative term. No matter how fast you are, there is something out there waiting to kill you in the quarter mile. I drove my mother-in-law's Caddy CTS-V to work this morning, and it felt like a rocket ship compared to the Fiddy, but I was also sitting 2 feet closer to the ground. The CTS is not a "fast" car in the purest sense of the word, but 80 in that thing feels like 110 in Mr. Brownstone.

Well stock except for his crazy stereo, it's like he forgot he was white.

I agree man. I must have a hidden boat anchor on my truck somewhere, because I think these things are slow....powerful, but slow. I have owned and driven fast vehicles before and this is not one of them, but I also except the fact that this is a truck and not a race car. Also, while we are on the subject I drove my neighbor's Titan last Sunday, and I can say that I wouldn't run him. That truck is definately faster than mine. Remember, I love my truck, but I do know what it can and can't do and don't pretend to think it can do more. Then again, maybe I got the "underpowered" edition of the F-150.
Thanks for listening......
I agree there is always a faster car. In the low 70's my partner and I had the fastest, badest car in the local city. One night we were 'proving our point' just running anything anyone that would challenge us. This is with two full grown men in the cab of a 66 El Camino. 527 ponies under the hood. Pretty good in those pre bottle days.
Anyway, we were feeling pretty good, and an old primer Vette, matched us at the light. Light turned green and my partner nailed it. We got a good launch, and I got to see the Vette Blast past us. It got two car lengths ahead, and I saw the wheelie bars, hitting the asphalt. Pure race car.
The guy never even stopped, or came back up to hang out where we were all parked. Just kept going after we shut down.
We never saw him before that night, and never after. No one knew the guy, or knew the car. This is in a small town of 56 thousand, where everyone knew everyone.
It taught us a good lesson,
there is ALWAYS a faster car.
