Your truck looks good, i like the color.
I was wanting to tint my tail lights on my 97 Cobra Mustang, with the spray does it turn out with a shine or does it have a dull look to it? From the pic' it looks like the spray does great, but it looks a little dull in the pic'.There is a guy that tint's tail lights and his turns out with a nice shine to them, here is his site www.jonstintedtails.com I wonder if he just uses regular window tint film, then adds a couple of coat's of clear coat? He does great work, but i don't know what he charges but i'd say it isn't cheap. Like you said with the spray the back up light is not very bright, they can tint your tails to where the back up light is not tinted so it stays bright but it still looks good. You can see samples in the custom gallery.

Hey man, I see you finally got your done. They look good. Did you clear coat them though? Maybe that's why they look a little dull?
I didn't mine spending the money to have my professionally done. My reverse light output is cut down a little bit too.

if you look in my gallery i did that with my old taillights and taped off the reverse light. your does look very dull, perhaps because it was humid when you did it. ive done it to MANY vehicles and usually get a nice gloss finish since the niteshades does have a good amount of clearcoat in the paint.

its a little thicker than window tint film, but same idea. Its put on using a hair dryer to shape/shrink it around the tail light. It can be taken off at any time but i dont think it can be re-used. thanks for the compliment
i ordered mine pre-cut to fit the tail lights, but im sure it could be done for the rest. As for the 3rd brake light, however, id suggest painting it with thinned out black paint because of the uneven surface. I tried using some model car spray-on paint but it came off in the carwash
you could also just use the AVS (auto vent shade i think ) headlight & tail light covers made of plastic

Black2004FX4 - I have been checking out your truck on FTW galleries... I am after the same blacked out look that you are. I just pulled off my FX4 stickers and installed the Carrige works Black billet grills. I also have the black headlights in the mail. Im planning on 20" demoda intimidator (black) rims with 33" Toyo MT tires. I also really want to paint my flares... I think when you go all black the Plastic sticks out. I am also interested in smoking or tinting the tail lights.
anyway... i just thought it was funny to see you posting over here since i have been looking at your truck over there.
Nice work on it by the way... looks awesome, Ill get some pictures of mine up once i get it done!
