Tan Terror Performance #s pre/post Magnaflow

Many runs were made, these are the best of each series... I don't think the muffer alone has this big of an impact... it was also about 15 degrees cooler. I also made a few runs (pre-magna) in outragous 90+ degree heat and turned in 10 second 0-60 times and 17+ second ¼ times.

I'll make some more runs this weekend after the AF1 goes in.

Pre Magnaflow (1714 Max Perf, K&N Drop-in):
¼ - 16.68 @ 80.48
0-60 - 8.75

Post Magnaflow (1714 Max Perf, K&N Drop-in):
¼ - 16.30 @ 83.88
0-60 - 8.42

Bone Stock 4x4 Screw (as reported by C&D):
¼ - 17 @ 82
0-60 - 9.3

mod test

D,

thanks for taking the time and money to give us a real world test of these mods. I do the usual, but always have doubts about the money I wast on mods that do nothing. I justify the k&n because I can wash and reuse it. And I just like to hear the exhaust. Nothing like the sound of a throaty V-8!

It will be interesting to see the difference in times after it cools down. Should make a big difference.

Thanks again.

Good Post Dzervit!

Very informative. Any updates with the AF1? I have an autometer D-pic that measures that kind of stuff, but I haven't had time to get my truck weighed and run it to see what the mods add. I have 1714 and AF1. Exhaust is next.

I'm looking forward to seeing the numbers. The main thing I noticed after installing mine was the boost in midrange power.
Oh, and the sound, which I like, but may not be for everybody.
