Smile What a difference some wheels make

Hi guys,

I've been on the board for almost a year now. I have not posted much, but I enjoy browsing the boards every day.

I've got a Red 2004 F-150 XL 4x4 Regular cab with an 8 foot bed that I've had for a year now. I love the truck. I love it even more now that I just bought some new factory take off 17" machined aluminum FX4 wheels to replace my original grey painted steel wheels. What a difference. It's like a whole new truck.

I'm gonna try and post a before and after Pic for you all to check out. You can also check out my gallery for a few more pics.

After

Much better... those painted steel wheels are the ugliest of the bunch.

Looks great. The first '04 I looked at had those steel wheels, I said, "What else do you have, WITHOUT those wheels?"

That looks great, it really makes your truck look a lot better.

I've gotten so used to my little bed that the other day I was looking at an F150 that had the 8 footer on it and I was like holly cow. It seems just unaturally big. Funny thing is All the other trucks I have ever had, had an 8' (a few years back though). An the 4 or 5 times I've been to Homey Depot putting plywood or lumber in back I missed that 8 footer.

Great looking rig!

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I really like them a lot.

That's the best $399 I've ever spent for new wheels and tires.
