when I installed mind a couple a months ago. I was trying toinstall mine close to the end to the tube as possible and it cept falling off. I am pretty sure it is because of the oily film on the inside of the rubber neck and on the end of the tube. I roughed up the end of the tube with a dremmal sanding drum, then I used some simply green to clean the oil off the tube and filter neck. after that I mounted it up and it is real tight no slipping I can even put alot of pressure on the end of the filter and it dosn't try to slip. I am pretty sure it was the oily film that is causing the issue.its been on for over a month now and no cel. I was thinking it might be the oily film in the tube and filter that might be getting on the mas air flow meter that is causing the cel people are getting. I read one post where I guy was getting a cel over and over and he cleaned tube out and then cleaned the mas air flow meter with electrical cleaner and it fixed his problem. I have read that it is not a good idea to try to clean the mas air flow meter as you might mess it up but a few people have cleaned it with electrical cleaner and not hurt it. after reading this I cleaned the inside of my tube as best I could before installed it. just a suggestion for those of you with cel issues.
