AC Vibration on my 05 Super Crew
AC Vibration on my 05 Super Crew
I’m new to this forum and I’m wondering if someone can help.
I have a 2005 FX4 Super Crew with only 900 miles. When I drive around for any length of time with the AC on (and only with the AC on), like between ½ to 1 hour and then turn off the motor for about 15 to 20 min, when I start it up again and start to take off I get a really bad vibration from under the hood, it seems to be around approx 900 to 1200 RPMs any higher then that it’ll stop, but get back down to 1000 RPM and it starts right back up. The vibration will stop all together after about ¼ of a mile. But it’ll start right back up if I drive around and stop and restart again. I’ve call the dealer and they told me that they could take a quick look at it but they can’t have a guy drive my truck around for that length of time. Has anyone had this problem?? If so what was the problem???
Thanks Scott

Welcome to the forum Scott
Line it up with your dealer that said, “they could take a quick look at it” to have it already warmed up and doing the *vibration thing* so when the service tech drives it, it’ll be easy for him to see what you’re concerned about
