weep holes
weep holes
this has gone way too far...Ford has totally lost their way with the design of their trucks...I for one am sick and tired of a tradesman's vehicle being ruined by design parameters for white collar folks who have no real use for a truck..(admit it, you're just a bunch of posers wasting gasoline for no good use except to be macho...sheesh)
the gripe?...I woke up this morning to find my $700 mitre saw under water (and under a tarp) because those petards @ Ford decided weep holes were not necessary in the bed of a pickup...and yeah, I've owned a few Ford F-150's over the last 16 years..thanks a lot Ford for making me spend over an hour taking apart a complex tool to save it from being ruined by your idiocy...in other words, FOAD you stupid morons...my next vehicle is definitely going to be a Toyota...no brake problems, a proper AC, etc, etc, etc...

edit: haha, wait. who leaves a $700 saw in the back of a truck, most are smart and take something that expensive out or have a bed cover, and who leaves a saw exposed to the elements with only a tarp to gaurd it, the weather channel is your friend.
i park on an inlcine so that all the water (if it rains) can escape under the tailgate.

Ummm....There are weep holes at the very front of the box to let the water drain out. Try moving the 2x4's and sweeping out the sawdust once in awhile so those drainage slots can do the job Ford put them in there for.
Actually, the correct spelling is "poseur". ;-)
I haul cargo that is much more valuable than your $700 saw (my motorcycle) but I do have a Makita that even cooks breakfast for me and the factory table on it is well over 3".
That means you would have to have a swimming pool going in your bed which means you are lying because even if you were stupid enough (I'm not taking that away from you) to plug the front drains (yes, they are there) doing a cheapy $40 spray it yourself line, the water would still drain.
Bottom line? You are either not too smart or you are a troll.

Where can I get one of those billet tissue boxes?

So you left a 700 dollar tool out in the rain and it's Ford's fault? Wow... So if the state doesn't put a guard rail up and you drive off the road are they at fault as well?
I think what you should be upset at is the fact that you consumed way to many paint chips when you were a wee little tyke... Where has all the common sense gone in the world?
