05 F150's Performance

Speedo Pegged, truck still had some throttle left too on this run. Overdrive was engaged.

Same thing here but overdrive is turned off.(the way I usually drive).

And just in case someone was wondering where the rpms were during all this. This is with overdrive engaged.


Pics are deceiving because of the blur, ride is still quiet and smooth even at these speeds.

Its not stock. Aint no stock F150 do those speeds. Trucks got Superchips Microtuner 1745 91 octane hi perf tune with speed limiter and rev limiter raised and Airaid intake.

I got 115 yesterday! I have the xcalibrator Troyer Tune!

Got Toyo Proxes ST and all the bolt on goodies. Buried speedometer in excess of 130mph. My buddy in his Mach 1 clocked me at 136mph.

hum...my 04 f-150 reg cab long box 4x4 can hit 180 KM..110 mph + and still has some pedal left 5.4 3v 355 LTD slip....and it's stock...if ya want to play the speed game get a 2wd reg cab with a 5.4 less lbs...I pulled this run at 530 in the morning on a flat high way...and I was not drinking and The tires on my truck are speed rated to 180 KM..

dont think ive ever even been over 100 in the truck. my speed demon is my torino 4 door, when it had 3.00 gears i would cruise to the beach at 155. until i got that ticket for 140 in a 55. now i go 10 over

I know the FX4 18" BFG's are rated up to 118 safely

correct. I have LT 265 70 17 BFG RGT T/A...same tire as the FX4.... not the same size

ive talked to one of the sponsors to this site and he told me he has had an 04 f150 lariat with the speedo all the way to the r in lariat 140plus mph and i believe him he said the truck was all over the road at about 130 he did it 2 times our trucks are not made to go that fast but hay its nice to know his had a tune something hes good at
