does no one else but me think this is hilarious that somebody called the popo because a three year old chucked some gravel at a truck? I seriously would have laughed it off. I do understand how you could be made, and rightfully so at the mom, and she should pay for the damage.. That is one funny story.

wow you are one angry dude. I seriously would have laughed it off. There are better things in life to get made about. For instance I saw someone die today--that is something to get really mad about. You should know what I am talking about--aren't you a firefighter? (I am guessing from your sig). 3 year old + rocks + truck = me chuckling. That being said, I still think the mom should offer to pay for it through insurance or whatever. That was pretty lame of her not to own up to her kids actions.

i think you are missing the point: 3 year old. If you (ie adult male) did that to my truck, of course I would be pissed, or if someone stole my stereo or whatever. I just can't imagine the "3 year old" aspect.

Funny? I dont find this funny at all. This is how I make my living. I get alot of work from people seeing my vehicles. When something you work very hard at gets damaged from a preventable situation, I just dont find any humor in it.

i see what you are saying and I think we are talking about two different things (sort of). that is why I said in an earlier post that I can understand why he would be mad at the mom.

sorry to offend! I hope your shop can fix your truck, and I will be sure to not let my three year old chuck rocks. It also helps that I don't have a cell phone. :o

Woah woah woah woah woah woah WOAH!!!!! Fellas, chill my peoples. EVERY man has his own opinion on this one. Let them have theirs, right or wrong on the subject.

Me? Personally? Just in case you asked? I lauged like crazy for hours this morning and lauged again when I read it this evening. Because in my head I picture this white trash lady hollering to who knows who on her cell phone and then her poorly watched child grabbing a hand full of rocks and throwing them Rocket style at his truck. Then I picture the "son of a b*****" look on his face as he gets pelted by a kid. But I also feel like that lady or her insurance needs to foot the bill, because in the end I'd be rightfully upset with what happened.

In the end though, the sun will rise another day....and people on opposite sides of the nation arguing online about SOMEONE ELSES truck and the scratches on it...really just doesn't matter.

In the words of Conan...."Chill my peoples!"

im not offended. I respect your outlook on the situation.when it all blows over I hope to have a different outlook on it also. But the anger must pass first.Thank you for the apology.
Hey Rock...I see how you keep your truck.Much pride in it,and spotless. I also notice the products you use on it. I am a guest of Barry M. and his wife every August at Pebble Beach. Would you be pissed if this was your baby?
