Ford Family Plan

This is supposed to end today or tomorrow.

Does anyone know of any chance it'll be back again? I won't be ready to buy until 3 or 4 weeks from now when I have my down payment ready, etc..

It'll be back next summer! They always offer big savings in the summer and screw the people who bought early in the year.

I wasnt considering buying a new rig until this came along. I had a 2001 with 75k but the family plan was too good to pass up. I moved my plans ahead to get in on the deal. I wouldnt count on seeing it again until next summer about this time, if at all.

I have to agree with Van, at the prices their offering now i think id beg, borrow or steal to buy one.
I bought mine in Jan. 04, if i bought today i would be driving a fully loaded Lariat at the same price.

Ahhh it's good to be a family member and get the A plan any time. My cousin can feel your pain. She bought a new Expedition a few weeks before they started the family plan deal.

I heard it wasn't that great of a deal (this was coming from my saleslady) unless you were planning on buying it outright. Ford pulled all the rebates and incentives away from leases and just gave the a-plan.

My Dad got a F-150 on my A-Plan last December for 270 a mth. That was a fully loaded FX4. The same truck under this new Family Plan is 445 a mth

She said buisness slowed down because of it. However, I live in Metro Detroit and A-Plan is biggy, everyone has it.

I figure if you find an '05, from here on out, you will probably be able to get a good deal on it, just like BEW119 said.

I don't see the Family Plan coming back any time soon, not even next summer. They often have sales every summer to clear out remaining inventory, but this was mainly a response to GM's employee discount for everyone. I know that I saved at least $1000 over X-plan by using the Ford Family Plan.

I say it was done because GM sales went through the roof when they started doing employee pricing. Now everybody has a special plan, if one extends it they all will.

I just hope they will do this again next year around this time as by then I will have my degree and hopefully a higher paying job so I can get me a new truck as the old 2000 will have over 100k on it by then and after 6 and a half years will be time for something new any way.

if you really look at it, its nothing special. just wait a lil bit and you can still get a good deal on an 05. my 04 was bought the beginning of january for way under "family plan" price, and with better financing.
