Board noOb!
Greetings to the board.
Just purchased another F-150 and decided to join a dedicated community this time around. This is my second F-150, the first was a 2001. Before that ive owned 3 Rangers. A '85, a '91 and a '99 i bought new. All ecepct the 2001 ran great. 150k+ on the two older ones and 75k on the '99 before i aquired a wife and dog and needed more room.
The 2001 had some issues. Blew the torque converter apart. The brake rotors warped and was starting to run a bit rough at time. I could tell that something was in the offing in the future. The timing was right, the deal was right so i moved on.
Anyway...greets.

A big hearty welcome aboard Van. I'm surprised you had time to post though, When I first got my 04 150 I don't think I got out of it for a week.
Be warned though, these folks are gona want pictures in a bad way.

Welcome! I graduated to the F-150 from a Ranger as well -- great little trucks!
In fact, I still have mine -- a '97 standard cab/short box that is in excellent condition. It has become my daily driver to keep the miles off my "Garage Queen" F-150 and to crank out the business miles (work pays me .405 cents for each mile I drive) with the money being stashed away in the bank to pay for a new Mustang GT once some of the pricing insanity wears off around that vehicle!
Yep -- we need pictures of the new effy!

I'm planning on leaving it stock. My camping trailer is very light so i dont need to juice up the truck at all. The only thing i am getting done asap is satellite radio. Ive decided on a provider, i just need to figure out and come to a descision on mounting the unit.

. If you dont do any performance mods you should look into getting a leveling kit, I got one for mine and it makes it look 10 times better. It's good to see another white FX4 owner, I thought I was the only one for a while.
Welcome
I too started with a '96 Ranger, then to a '01 F150.
When i bought my 04 back in Jan. of 2004 I decided to keep it stock as well.
Of course that was before i put on the bug guard, nerf bars, pin stripe, flowmaster and as of this weekend Lariat rims....
