05 FX4 SCrew Hesitates Around 4k RPMs

I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced what I'm seeing on my new truck (700 miles on it, no mods). When I floor it, it accelerates up through the rpms, but it falls on its face at 4000rpms for 1-2 seconds before it continues up and shifts at around 5000rpms. Its like a big flat spot in the power curve, and you can definitely feel it.

It happens almost every time with the a/c on, but I've only tried it once without the a/c (too hot here in AZ) and it didn't do it.

Any thoughts?

I'd roll that beaty right into the dealer and have them check it out. Might be
a simple reflash could fix you up if you haven't thrown any codes.

I have the exact same problem. I havnt noticed it as much lately but for a while it was 2 out of 5 times...or so...lol. But talked to the dealer and they said its not worth while reflashing it. He said its just the computer "rethinking" about what its doing. Its kinda embarrasing when someones with you and you punch it..then they are like whats wrong with this thing?? But my advice is to run it a few more thousand miles. I have 4 grand on mine now and it hasnt been doing it that ive noticed. Let me know how you turn out on it.
