As many of you already saw my thread earlier about my smashed up transmission cross-member. I was lucky enough to get some help from a fellow F-150 owner, Quintin. Thanks bud! Now its supposed to be arriving today, I need to know the torque specs for it? If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it a lot!

 

Slightly less then the torque it experienced when you ran over that rock...

 

I wasn't able to measure the amount of torque at the time. Duh!

 

I always used German torque for stuff like that...gutentight.

Torque the trans mount to crossmember nuts to 76 ft/lbs; the crossmember to frame bolts to 66 ft/lbs, and the exhaust hanger to crossmember bolts to 30 ft/lbs.

I guess I have my German translation screwed up. I always thought that was the term for a virgin.

Oh well, I already got mine on. $390 and the thing didn't come pre-tapt? Whats up with that Quintin.
