Add-a-Leaf done

I finished up the add-a-leaf from pro-comp on my truck, was ALOT of hard work and busted knuckles. If anyone needs any help send me a msg It's NOT fun, especially since on the left side spring you can't pull out the bolt holding it in because of the damn gas tank!

How much extra lift did it give in the back?

well after the 6" pro comp and 3" bodylift, the rear wasn't level (and this wasn't with the coilovers)...so maybe the factory springs just settleed, but anyway the add-a-leafs add about 2" give or take...they are very springy.

Kelmvor,

if you don't mind me asking, where did you buy your add a leafs and how much did they cost? I've been looking for some. Does pro comp make these separately, or are they actually part of a kit that they sold to you as components?

got them from 4wheelparts here in san antonio, tx. They were around 80$ and are totally seperate from any kit. You can order them on the phone from 4wheelparts.com

Cool......let me ask you this.....I know skyjacker makes 2 kinds, one is a heavy duty add a leaf, and the other is their 'softride' add a leafs. The softride sounds like it would be comfortable and not change the stock ride much, while the heavy duty seems to just be a lift and to handle more of a load while really stiffening up the ride. So what are the pro comps like? Are they just a basic add a leaf or what? How has your ride quality changed? And did you say you got about 2 inches from them?

Hmm..hard questions. I would say the rear is stiffer which is GOOD, because of how it wraps up with the blocks in the rear. I don't know if there were different ones because i just got what i asked for. I needed 2" of add in the rear and they ordered me what i got They are good, get them and enjoy!

Nice truck, but IMO you should get rid of the following:

1. The million stickers all over the door.
2. The chrome Putco handles.

But hey, if you like it..so be it. It looks mean though.
