Haha, ok guys. What do you think, Harley Davidson lamps or keep them stock? HID projectors are going in there and will keep the actual light itself chrome.

However, do you think because of my Lariat grill surround, bumper and grill being chrome that the lights would look bad painted black? Like the Harley Davidson lamps that a large amount of people have. Just haven't seen any trucks that look like mine with them on.

I had the same thoughts as you. I have a Black XLT and was thinking about the Harley lamps but decided the chrome look is better on a black truck. I did replace the egg yolk turn signals with silver bulbs. Looks much better. Now if I could get rid of the amber corner signal it would be perfect.

 

I have the harley type headlights on my FX4 and I've put in the chrome turn signal lights since this picture was taken. IMO it works because of all the black on the front grille.

In YOUR case I'd recommend staying with the chrome. It fits better.

I went w/the H-D headlamps, but my truck is all black...

 

if you want the projectors stay with the chrome but if you go without the projectors the black headlights might look good. but not both IMO. go with whatever you want.
