Your worried you damaged your truck so you jumped in your companys truck fired down the road and threw it in park. LMAO!! Now thats just good comedy.

Always wanted to try that on a rental car.

Personally ... I would immediately get a replacement !!!!!!
Couldn't imagine being married to someone who would jam it into park !!!
Just teasing ... hope ALL is o.k. !!

your trans is fine. the chattering was the park lock pawl trying to lock the output shaft, it wont lock until you get to a slow enough speed (as you now know)

Sounds like you got yourself a keeper! I would never hit a woman, but I would sure shake the ***** out of her for some crazy stunt like that!!!

Just remember this...

The first time she does crap like that is her fault. The second time is yours.

If my wife, friend, or anyone did that to my rig, It'd be out of the truck for good for a lady, and lights out, tossed out, thrown in the bed, taken to the emergency room for the rectal retrieval of my boot, don't come by again for a man.

That's just plain asking for a beat down.

I'd never hit a woman either, but that would test that boundry for sure.

Thumbs down

Are you serious that you actually went out and did the same thing in your company truck to "see what it would do"?

That has to top the list as one of the stupidest things I've ever read on this site.

It is pretty funny but kinda risky. Just hope no one from work is on here and turns you in or something, that would suck.
