Front Seats! need help

Is anyone else having problems getting comfortable in these seats. I am having a hell of a time sitting in them, my back starts bothering me after 5 to 10 minutes. Any replacement suggestions?

I actually like the seats in my '05 Lariat a lot better than the ones in my '98 F-150. I do not like seats that are too soft.

I have an '04 Screw Lariat and i'm very comfortable in these seats! Everyone in our 3 vehicle caravan to Colorado last spring wanted to ride with me because my truck was so comfortable. How big a feller are you? That might have something to do with it?

I think these seats are great. I have the xlt seats, very comfy. They look like the xl seats but there is a big difference. Most glad I spent the extra cash and upgraded the truck purchase.

No problems here with my seats. I weigh 200lbs and I can sit comfortably for several hours with no problems. BTW I have the captain seats not the 40/20/40

The only issue that I am having are is water stains. Anyone have an idea/trick to correct this without buying expensive seat covers?

same ****ing thing

try lowering your lumbar, some people crank the lumbar when their back hurts, but actually go the opposite way and lower it

I have the captains also . Very comfortable on 500 mile trips here. Rather ride in my truck then wife's Escape even though it's not bad. Her mpg is 25.7 avg on highway.

When I first got my 04, I was fairly uncomfortable compared to the two GM trucks I traded in on it. The first thing I did was to place about three washers under the front seat mounts; made a big difference on the cushion angle and thigh support. Also the seats took some time to break down a little. After eight months they are getting more comfortable.

That was the first thing I noticed when I bought my truck. The seats feel like plywood with cloth tacked on to it...very uncomfortable to sit in for long periods....hopefully they will get better with time.

I miss the plush, pillowy seats from my old '95 Tahoe... although I'm getting used to the 40/20/40 bench in the Lariat SCREW. I may try the washer trick, disclosed earlier on this thread.
