Marc,
I didn't take it that way. Just letting everyone know where I'm at with the truck. No problem.

Oh yeah, my 60 ft times were 2.6's too. ouch!

My stock RWHP was 211 and the new RWHP was 309. But again, that's on a Mustang dyno, not a dynojet, so the numbers are going to sound lower than what'd you expect.

Rock on man!

Tuning in a super/turbo charger is 75% of the process.. Takes time.. Good Luck.

Oh yeah.. when your gears get here, it'll romp... And also I'd look into getting it custom tuned instead of the generic tuner..

Generic tuners are VERy conservitive as far as dialing in boost... Just ask the lightning guys..

Custom tune will get more fuel into the engine and help with the shifts..

Awesome! My only word!

I totally agree. I used to be a Lightning guy, so I've been down that road. Once I get my gears, I will have it tuned locally.

I sold my L, wanting a change. I got this truck, and while it's a lot of fun, I think I will be selling it shortly. I may buy another L....that was just too much fun. This time around, I'm going for a KB from the beginning and just be done with it...haha

211RWHP stock? Ouch man. I guess the 4x4 models are robbing the power.

I dyno'd 280RWHP and 340FTLBS TQ naturally aspirated on the Excal tuner, Airaid intake, exhaust, and underdrive pullies. Since then I have added more and will most likely clear 290HP at the wheels.

I have the RCSB 2WD model though. I was at about 245hp bone stock. I am currently running low 14 1/4Et's and high 8's in the 1/8ET.

Did the Vortech come with tune as well? Seriously, something sounds wrong. Whipple pulled out 394RWHP on 8 psi on a 5.4L 3V engine.

Here is the link and time they ran on a Supercrew Lariat model. I called them and he said it had the stock 32.7" tires and 3.55 gears.

You should be in the mid/low 15's EASY !!!

I imagine your dyno #'s are different because your's was done on a dynojet?

*****,
I planned on selling it before the s/c was complete. Just had to wait until I got it back. I still have the gears on order and plan on working on the truck. If someone buys it, great, if not, that's fine too.

Right, I agree on the Dyno Jet. But 211 is way low. I dont think I have seen one dyno that low yet even on a Mustang dyno. A few have dyno'd here and the lowest I have seen was 230HP in a loaded 4x4.

I dunno, I could be wrong. But, the times seem a bit off too. I understand your 60' issue. That is how I calculatd you to a low 15. If you could pull a 2.0 60' you could feasibly see a low 15 sec 1/4 mile.

Just for reference. When I was stock, my race weight was 5275lbs with me in it. With no mods I ran roughly a 15.5 in the 1/4 from the factory. That is 1.3-1.4 seconds quicker than your SC'd time.

If you are spinning like crazy out of the hole, then I can see somewhat.

But, I am most likely getting a Procharger 9psi system and 2 core intercooler. The dyno results on that system were close to a 70% gain and or 400+ HP at the wheels on my truck. You need to tune and see if those #'s dont jump alot.
