The details....

On a Mustang dyno, not dynojet, I gained 97 RWHP and 100RW FT/LBS. Truck runs really strong and flawlessly! It has the bigger injectors and the Predator for tuning. It appears that the program they provide is very very conservative, as it must work with Calif. emissions and 91 octane. I was data logging at the track and my timing #'s are very low, air/fuel is very safe. Which is all good news! Some manuf.'s don't recommend towing with their s/c's because of the tune, but I don't expect this to be a problems with the Vortech. I am only running 8 PSI too!

My 1/4 times were horrible last night. High 16's. But, I have 35's and still running the factory 3.73's. I would pass the traps as I was just shifting into 3rd. If I shifted manually, I would pass the traps still in 2nd. My gears are supposed to be here in 2 weeks, so that will make a huge improvement! Come on 4:56's!!

Looks great, you are my hero. I am jealous. Vortech needs to come out with a SC for the 4.6. I don't what to hear about getting the 5.4, I got a great deal that I could not pass up. Away love the SC. Remember to wave as you are blowing my doors off.

im sorry. but running high 16's with a blower is NOT GOOD, even with 35s. misato ran a LOW 17 with just an xcal and couple other mods. and he has a fabtech 6 inch lift with 35's and stock 3.73 gearing. looks like you need some tuning or something, maybe let off the brake a little

That's why it's called test and tune, guys. I agree, the numbers are not where they should be. I am doing some data logging and will get all adjusted.
Remember, there are many many more factors, than just HP alone, that contributes to a 1/4 mile time. The fact that I cross the traps in 2nd gear is a huge issue. If I was crossing the line in drive, and still running those times, then I would be really concerned.

Not slamming Josh.
I really want to install a blower on my truck. I am looking at both what you have and the Rousch. Once you get it all dialed in PLEASE let me know the facts...
