Headrest Monitors Installed

Just got my headrests back from RAM SS/T. He put in 6-inch monitors and have to say did a heck of a job. I would really recommend anyone thinking about it to have him do it. Fast and an awesome job. more pics in gallery

yeah, that really is useless to put tvs in your headrests so people behind you can watch it. waste of money and at the same time i'd rather the people behind me watch my brakelights as i dont need an addition to my rear end in the form of another car. :santa:

Thanks for the comps, and I am very glad you like them. Yours actually look better than mine (I guess you learn a few tricks after you do it the first time).

And BTW I play my back monitors all the time for the people behind me to see....one tip is take to take the back seat HRs off so they can be seen easier! lol

Yeah RAM, got a question. are yours set up to come on when the truck starts or do you have to keep turning them on?

I have the hot wire (there is only a positive and a negative wire to hook up) hooked to a fuse that is hot all the time. That way you dont have to turn them on everytime you turn the on and off...they will stay on as long as there is signal coming to them. If there is no signal (the DVD player isnt playing) they will turn themselves off after about 5min...or you can just turn them off. If you dont have them hooked to a fuse that stays hot everytime you turn off ignition you will loose all the settings (picture, brightness and so on).

Are they 16:9 aspect ratio?
I only have widescreen DVD's and 4:3 is junk. I was searching on etronics for monitors. They have alot for cheap but they are all 4:3 and the 16:9's are all in the $250 range per monitor.
