I will admit our trucks are probably the slowest of the full size truck segment.
Hemi's are badass, and so are Titans. I know what the 5.4 is capable of, and I wish they came with a more aggressive tune. I also think that a five speed auto would no doubt help. The weight thing doesnt scour with me. Try a 5.4L F-250 crew cab 4x4 with the torqueshift tranny, and you will see what I mean. MUCH quicker than an F-150 Supercrew 4x4. I have taken them all in on trade, and have driven them all. I still like my 2005 F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4 best!

Unhappy

0 to 60, why stope thier...in the real world who's happy with just doing 60..do you want all the power in the rev band to hit 60 quicker than every one else, and than full flat at 65?
I'm all for more power/performance out of the 5.4 3v...add a 514 gears and drop a 1000 lbs and thier your go...your faster....but back in the real world I like to have power I can use when I need to, towing, highway, off road, ect.

I'm guss. my truck could hit 60 in 10 to 11 sec...reg cab 4x4 long box 5.4 355 ltd slip...on the highway at crusing speed.....thier are not a lot of stock trucks that can out run me.....unless your driving a ford f-150. .

I'm not referring to anybody here on this forum, but you all have heard this same b*****it before, usually from your best buddies.
Seeing as this rant appears to be directed at me, let me say this....go back and reread what I wrote. YES we both knew we were "racing" (if you can call it that when your towing a trailer). I bought my F150 for towing and hauling. This is a powerful truck but it's a different kind of power. I'd like to see a Mustang or Corvette pull the loads these trucks are capable of, not going to happen. Your entitled to your opinion, but I don't have to agree with it.

Then again when someone sees a 2004-5 F-150 lighting the tires up and spinning some insane donuts, they are all going to be gun ho about it and be like this:

Different strokes for different folks..

There is allot of BS on this forum ill agree but you know what not nearly as much as on other forums especially the Titan one, they can beat BMW 745 porsche boxsters, lightnings hell even a gt mustang. This site is realy down to earth in comparison and personally ill go with that the vast majortiy of these stories is true.
:santa: -that thing sucks what is he for????

Here you can watch mine go past 60. Its a super crap run, I was just messing around and it is spinning and shifts to 2nd and then down shifts again before it ever starts to pull. I am sure you can take off 3 seconds for all that lol.

Well, to get back on topic of 0-60mph.....

Forst off, many of the haters on here couldnt be further from the truth. My times have been posted here many times. I have yet to be beaten by a HEMI in stock or modded config.

My current 0-60mph is 5.8 seconds on a naturally apirated 5.4L 3V and that is on street tires.

Currently running low 14 second 1/4ET on street tires and most likely high 13's with drag radials. Best 60' is 2.03.

It's the other way around for me, most cars on the street get beaten by me.

Dont let ANYONE tell you guys that these trucks cant be fast...cause that is BS. Troyer has some great products and I can tell you first hand that they work.
