1/4 Mile times (last night)

I took the Supercrew to the local 1/4 mile track last night. I was NOT expecting any mind boggling E/T's as the truck is over 6000# in its present state.(2004 Supercrew, 4 x 4, 5.4, 3:73 LS, 285/70/17 BFG's, full weight with bed cover)
Truck has the following mods: Magnaflow muffler bolted in stock system.
Air Force 1 intake
Mike T's custom tuned X-Calibrator 2

I had the truck on the 93 octane towing compatible tune.

+ 0.429-- reaction time
2.2900--- 60 foot
6.6681---330 foot
10.3540--1/8 ET
66.67----MPH
13.4631--1000'
16.1410--1/4 ET
85.53-----MPH

I was very happy with the results.
The truck did slow down to run consistent 16.50's the rest of the night after becoming quite heat soaked do to the round robin system they run at the track, but in the end I made it into the finals in the "Street" class to my amazement which resulted in another trophy for the garage.
I belive that if the weather conditions are favorable that this truck will run in the high 15's. (next time I will run the 94 octane tune I have)

Great post Marc! That's a HEMI killer for sure! And also gives a Titan a run for it's money...

Did you ever run the times stock, or during the upgrade process.... love to see how the individual add-ons made a difference.

HEMI, huh.

"That thing got a hemi?"

"Unfortunately, yes."

I call B.S.

Just Kidding, Sorry Marc, had to do it. Hope i didn't get your bloodpressure up
Those are good looking screw times.
I would hope the 91 tune i have would give similar results. Why did you opt to run the Towing tune?

That was the tune I had in the truck when I arrived at the track and from past experience I knew that if I uploaded the 94 no holds barred tune that the truck would not run to its potential without several drive cycles.
My blood pressure is on the auto mode and nothing can bother me as the car plant is shut down for our annual tooling turn around and I am on two weeks of "VACATION" !!!!!

those look like some good times for a fairly stock screw.

Actually it would probably be pretty close.
Motor Trend has specs on a dodge SLT ram with the hemi. 2dr, reg. cab short bed. Weighs in at a measily 4800#
It pulled a 15.11@89.06. Was it faster? Yes, but I'd like to see the time on a hemi equipped truck that matches what marc is running at 6000#.

I've seen stock Hemi quad cab trucks run high 15s. 15.8s or so at the track. Those Hemis come with like 370hp or something stock.

Titans run quick because of that 5 speed auto they have. Wish Ford would make something like that for us.

345hp @5400 is the number for a hemi( i think its 5400, that could be +or- but the hp is right)
BTW a quad cab SLT 4x4 still only weighs in at 5500# (with the 8ft bed)

Titans have the auto and once again they are lighter. Thier biggest truck still only comes in @5200#

I'm not saying that they can't go faster, i just want to see what they'd be at an even weight
