Question Question about transmission.

Hey guys,

I just ordered my Xcal 2 from our good friends at Troyer performance. Now I am in the process of filling out some forms and am wondering what transmission my F-150 uses.

Its a 2004, 5.4L, 2WD, with 3.55 LS. Anyone know what kind of transmission these things use? Is it the same for a 4WD?
Thanks guys.

It should be listed on your door sill sticker. (at least that's where it was on our old '98 STX) I'll go look to make sure.

HMMM, seems I may have gotten one of the unsealed transmissions, as I have a dipstick in mine, which tells me it is serviceable. And I would never want a maintenance free transmission, there is no way that fluid would last a lifetime, I don't care what ford says.

As for the transmission, just tell them it is stock, Mike knows what are in these trucks, so there is no need for you to find out what it is, he will take good care of you. You will be extremely happy with the tunes!
