SVTErick,

So the skyjacker 3" lift is a rough riding setup? Sounds like it is still smooth on the road, but once it is off the road it is a little too rough? I take it that you probably would not recommend getting this then?

Did any special mods have to be made to your truck to do this lift? Does anything rub or is there any control arm problems?

ive had no problems with rubbing but i highly recommend a GOOD alignment ASAP after install. it rides a bit rough for me, but i enjoy the ride height so im staying with it.

SVTERIC, is you're truck two wheel drive or four? I was just wondering because I did'nt really notice much difference in ride quality after the lift install. Are the two wheel drive versions sprung a little softer than the four? I also noticed from your pics that you have more of a rake than mine seems to have, or is that because yours is a scab and I have a screw? Anyway you have a gerat looking truck!

You may be onto something hi rider. I think his truck is a 2wd, and it is only a standard cab (all of the standard cabs come with that little extra space now). It could be that because it is a 2wd the ride may be a bit rougher, but I'm not sure about it. Seems like I've read that there's not much difference in the 2wd and 4wd suspensions, but there is definitely a lift block in the rear of the 4wd. I love the look of his truck though.

SVTErick, what size wheels and tires are you running? What is the backspacing on your wheels?
